if you took the time to ask charlie what she had been up to lately, she'd simply shrug. since finding out about being pregnant, she didn't know what she was doing anymore. she was always trying to stay inside the hotel that she had found a good way to escape, or else she was at her home, trying to pack stuff to take to the hotel. if you actually asked charlie, she didn't want keagan to find out about her being pregnant. nor did she want anyone else really knowing. people could easily go and just start selling the story. so basically? only charlie knew. great stuff, huh? but she wanted to wait until she could find the perfect way to tell him. no matter what, the choice of words would never be something he wanted to hear. but she'd find her own way.
so as usual, charlie had decided to sit inside of her home, watching tv ever so quietly in belief that keagan wouldn't be home today. or at least while she was there. but she was lonely. and obviously she needed company, so why not tell landon to come over? pulling up her cell phone from the pocket in her jeans, she began to come up with a quick message of 'it's chahleh. come over!'. and sent it. if he didn't obey, she wouldn't be scared to go kidnap him and drag him to her home. she was cool enough to get away with things like that.. only kidding, but still. she needed company and someone to talk to. not to really sit around and whine to. no, she would not tell him about her being pregnant. she could have seen it now, really. she could see him saying things like 'ohmygosh. it's gonna be ugly. and poopy. and it's gonna cry all the time. and puke. and i'm gonna hate it. what the hell, charlie?' yeah. that's what she could imagine him saying.
flipping the channels, she tucked her phone in the back pocket of her jeans and started to look toward the door. she didn't think he'd text her back. and he knew that her door was always unlocked while she was home.

landon hadn't been up to anything that day. sleep and lay in bed while he 'watched' TV was the whole agenda today, and he was planning on sticking to it unless he got an invitation somewhere. he didnt feel like making plans, because lately its all he did. that or just go somewhere and run into a ton of people, but that consisted of him choosing where he wanted to go which was basically the same thing as making plans. landon stared at the TV, which was considered him watching it even though he wasnt paying attention, and suddenly he felt his phone vibrate on his nightstand next to him.
it was a text from charlie, and it made him smile. she was such a loser sometimes. he texted back, because he didnt want to waste his time and then her leave or something because he took too long "hey chahleh, its lawndun. ill be over in a bit" was what he said and after it he felt like a superloser, but he didnt really care because its just charlie. landon got out of bed for the first time that day, and he went to his closet. pulling on a plain white tshirt, a purple hoodie, and some grey skinny jeans that were too skinny for his own good, he felt comfortable yet sexy at the same time, which was always good.
after sliding on some shoes, he was out the door and into his car. charlies wasnt too far away, but you'd never see landon walk. he drove the distance, which was a little lest than a mile, and pulled into her driveway. not feeling the need to knock, he walked in and stood in the doorway for awhile, wondering where charlie might be.

charlie had received the text message, but not even bothered to check it. yes, it was bad when you were too lazy to even check your own text messages, no? but it would be useless since she knew the answer in the first place. it'd be a yes or a no. but she just sat there, flipping channels and staring blankly until she felt she should get up. but standing up and starting toward the kitchen, she gasped loudly and her face paled. just a bit.
"could you at least announce you're here next time so i'm not startled?", that was the first thing to leave her mouth the moment the normal coloring to her face returned and she started into the kitchen once more to get a bottle of water. after retrieving it, she had walked back to the area he had been in and unscrewed the top of the bottle, taking a few sips slowly. "you weren't busy with anything when i texted you, were you?" charlie asked, not really caring all that much if she had interrupted him in anything or not. it probably wasn't that important anyway. how nice of her to think, right? haha.

landon began to walk around the room, pulling out his phone to text charlie again before he heard footsteps. he slid his phone back into his pocket and was about to speak, but was beat to it. laughing a little bit at his friend, landon just simply said, "i texted you i was on my way" wondering why she wouldn't have known that. oh, well maybe she just didnt check them. landon didnt really know charlie to be the lazy type but you never really know.
"yes, i was deep into conversation with the president" he said laughing once more. he was such a sarcastic bastard sometimes. well, at least that was better than just being a bitch like he usually was. except he never really was with charlie, because they were such good friends and what not. landon loved charlie, they'd been friends for awhile and landon even looked up to her a bit. not that he'd ever admit to that, landon was too ego-centered to do anything of the sort. "god, i was watching TV and there was this show about all these pregnant celebrities, i cant believe how stupid people are. who gets pregnant these days? it's the stupidest thing you could do, i swear" he said walking over twords charlie and little more and then just making his way to the TV room, figuring she'd follow him.

"why would i check it? i already know it's either gonna be a yes or a no." charlie stated, knowing that the remark was probably rude. but if she weren't being rude toward him, then. yeah. what was up? because she usually did cop an attitude around him since he was someone that annoyed her more than any other person she knew. plus the statement had a point in a way. she knew the answer. so she wouldn't have to even bother.
"isn't the word 'conversation' a bit big for you?" charlie began to grin pretty widely, looking at him quietly and waiting for a response. but all that had diminished the moment that her stated pregnancies and celebrities. but she couldn't let it show like she had wanted it to. so a content expression plastered its way up on her face, "that's their choice, landon. and it's 'most stupid'. not stupidest. but in their defense, its their choice. i mean, i want a baby. but i have to wait." well, wasn't that funny? especially since she was already pregnant at this time? but she was doing her best at playing the liar card. and she knew she could do it. after all, how else had her parents not known about her drug and alcohol habits whenever she had been a teenager? if he'd try and assume anything, she could deny it. as long as she kept her cool, she was able to probably deny it and make it seem honest.

"i could have been dying" he snapped back, grinning and then just rolling his eyes. at least she hadn't seen his childish and a bit embarassing text. well, she would eventually, but hopefully just after he leaves so he wont have to endure any teasing or taunting and what not. running some fingers through his hair he rocked back and fourth on his heels thinking about all those stupid baby breeders out there. they really did tick landon off.
landon knew he'd never have kids, he would probably kill them the day they were born anyways and then he'd just have a lot of shit to go through there and what not. so why not just keep himself the trouble and not get a chick preggo? well, that should be easy since he's been dating nothing but girls lately. "shut the fuck up" he said, smirking at her. he always loved charlie, because she was just as rude to him as he was to her. yes, it did tick him off from time to time and make him want to do it more, but that was part of the fun in it.
landon bit on his lip, he hated being gramatically corrected. it was just a pet peeve. probably because he never was wrong, so when he actually was it embarassed him a bit. "its still stupid, and a whole lot of them are accidents anyways, charlie. dont correct me, i know what i said." he said fixing his hair once more, it was bothering him more than usual today. "why are you defending them anyways?" he said just asking it as a question because she was fighting with him, not that he suspected anything. landon was kind of stupid with things like this, she could say 'im pregnant' and he might missi t just because he didnt feel like listening at the moment.

".. i really wouldn't check it then. i'd be too busy celebrating." anyone knew that charlie had fun teasing him and being pretty mean toward him. she wasn't usually like this toward random people. just landon, because she knew he wasn't going to be hurt or throw some kind of b.f over what she said. it was all in clean, good, fun if that's what you'd like to call it, at least. but putting her hands on her hips, she raised a brow, "but if you really want me to check it, i could." she didn't see what urgency this text message had, but whatever.
"it's not stupid, landon. and even though they're 'accidents', a lot of them grow up just fine, now don't they?" she stated in a challenging tone, eyebrows raised. when he asked why she was defending them, she didn't know what she should say. she obviously wasn't going to throw out that she was pregnant. it was under wraps and that's how she wanted it to stay. "because that's what i believe. listen to what you're saying!" charlie scoffed, crossing her arms over her chest and rolling her eyes. even though he wasn't doing it intentionally since he didn't know she was pregnant, she felt like he was taking shots at her and insulting her.

"youre a bitch" landon said blantly, mostly just joking around but you know, of course he had a bit of truth to it. just because of the fact that landon hated being snapped back upon. he usually got to be a bitch to anyone and everyone, and they all just took it. but not charlie, and a select other few, they fought back and that just got landon going even more. he did enjoy a good arguement here and there, but it obviously bothered him at the same time. what person in their right mind liked fighting? not many, at least. "no, i was just making a point. it has nothing to do with you checking it now" he said when she suggested checking it. he didnt mean 'check it now or die' he was just saying that she should have, and then she wouldn't have been scared.
oh, and that if you text someone you should at least check what they say, if not reply, but he wasnt sure that was being said all that well. which he was okay with. "not many, celebrities are too busy trying to stay in the spot light. i know, charlie, i was basically raised by nannies. and my dads not even a celeb, just successful, its the same for all the rest" landon never really got into his past, and childhood and what not, but he was right now because he wanted to win this battle. "babies are annoying, and ugly, and smelly, and just fucking obnoxious, anyways." he added, narrowing his eyes at her.
she was just being charlie, and he was just being landon. they disagreed a lot, but usually their arguments didnt get this intense and what not. but landon felt like he had a good point, and charlie was just being stupid. "i can hear myself, thanks, and im saying whats true and right" he replied to her. whatever, she could believe that, its not like he cared. well, he obviously did because he was disagreeing so much like this to her, but you know. landon wasn't supposed to care about anything or anyone but himself, so thats how things are going to be.
