[/size]angie wasn't the type to really take the subway, since it always creeped her out no matter what. or that's what it was like for her. but it was better than walking the streets alone. being the kind of danger magnet that she happened to be, it'd probably end really badly. so she settled with the subway. it wasn't really crowded at all for whatever reasons. but there were people in small crowds, chatting or else waiting for the train. she kept her eyes down and stayed quiet, arms crossed over her chest. she had stayed after school a little so that she could finish a report she had been working on for a while. and no, it wasn't late. she had turned it in before it was due, so that was one thing off her chest.
everyone seemed to ignore her, which she was happy about. being the quiet type, angie didn't like being bothered too much. occasionally she'd look up and catch someone staring at her, but it wasn't anything to make her fell too awkward. they were usually just curious glances. finally hearing the train arrive, she groaned loudly and shifted her weight as people filled it up. too many people, really. and yet the subway hadn't seemed so crowded. she could wait for the next one, even though she'd be waiting a while. she'd probably be worried about, but that was all.
so moving her feet, she walked over to the wall and sat down against it slowly, a scowl coming onto her face. she hated when she had time to think just because things she didn't want to think about would surface. things like how she had neglected her 'friend' and lost his friendship, yet she wouldn't give up. she'd somehow make it all up to him. she didn't know how, but she wouldn't give up and just throw everything away. a part of herself was angry with him, but she also couldn't help but blame herself about the situation.
pushing herself out of the thoughts, she tried to distract herself with the hem of her shirt by picking at it slowly. it was just a plain grey tee, simply because her family wasn't exactly rich, so to speak. so usually when it came to clothes and food? they didn't really care about brands, as long as it was cheap. and they seemed to hate spending it on stuff they didn't even need. and no, angie wasn't at all embarassed to admit it, actually. on her legs were a pair of simple jeans. they weren't raggedy looking, but they didn't have the appearance of being from some high-end store or anything. her feet had been fitted with a pair of white tennis shoes. if no one knew her, really, she never seemed to stick out. but she liked it that way. it was a lot easier.
