outfit
Ajiah had woken up on an off day, so for the first day in his life he skipped school and walked downtown, forgetting his jacket and everything, just walking, not caring that he was cold or feeling depressed. His ear buds remained in his ears the whole time, music blasting into his ears, his i-pod shoved into the front of his skinny jeans. It was a warm day but the overly skinny teen felt the cold anyway. He spotted the stairs to the subway and walked down them, taking his time, pushing through the crowd of people, wondering if it was always like this.
He brought an all-day ticket, he had no plans. He climbed onto the train and found a seat all the way at the back, setting down in the shadows, looking out the window silently. He sat like that for a while before daring to move his eyes around the train, noticing the different people, taking them in as an art critic would take in a painting or a abstract piece of work.
There was an old couple holding hands and whispering, a child--maybe their grandchild?-- sitting beside the old lady. The girl reach over and tugged on the old ladies shirt, catching her attention and receiving a smile in return, their lips moving. Ajiah tried to imagine what they were saying. What was the girl wanting? Would she get it?
His eyes shifted to a group of guys sitting staring stonily ahead of them, they looked like they had a lot on their minds, one was fidgeting like he was nervous. Had they done something wrong? Maybe they'd robbed someone, or maybe worse killed someone. His imagination went wild on him as he imagined all the gruesome things they could of or couldn't have done. Who was it? A girl? Or maybe it was some kid who pissed them off. Sighing a little he finally looked away.
Turning his i-pod up he started to tap his foot lightly, finally closing his eyes to the world around him. he didn't sleep but he looked it, remaining still and silent other than the slight movement of his foot on the floor as the beat of the music flowed through him. He liked doing things like this when he was feeling low, sure he'd never skipped school to do it before, but something had just told him to walk and so... he had.

+outfit life was stressful. and when it got stressful, irisi usually took the time to leave somewhere away from all the stress. and today it had all been at work. the well-known actress had been trying rather hard to do the same take over and over again. it was hard, mainly because she couldn't find a 'connection' with the other actor. and finally she got fed up enough to just walk off set.
she was concsious to the fact she could be fired, possibly. but when she had become fed up, all she knew to do was just leave whatever was stressing her out... plus, air could do her some wonders at this point. being under so many lights and under all the pressure got her feeling pretty paranoid. it wasn't anything that someone as quiet and shy as irisi liked too well. it was the easiest way to scare her off.
after slipping a pair of sunglasses and a hat on, she was outside and walking around the city in due time. of course cameras turned her way. but only a few here and there. she kept her sights down, just going toward the subway. couldn't they respect her privacy for once? she hated it when people shoved cameras in her face. they may as well be taking pictures of paint drying -- irisi was nothing special at all. if anything, she could sum herself up in a single word: boring. she was quiet and hated talking. so why?
thoughts interrupted, she glanced toward the subway and then began toward it in a slow walk, trying to escape the paparazzi and whatever else was out there. she was scared to know. she had purchased a ticket and advanced toward the train in a near quick sprint, just because she almost missed it. by the time she got in, the doors had shut fully and the train began to move. it was then that irisi knew she was somewhat safe.
pulling out a cellphone, she started going through it. in all honesty, she very rarely used it. but she enjoyed looking at it. a small movement had knocked her nearly off balance and the phone fell out of her hands in front of a guy that seemed to catch her eye in one of those ways that she could say he was unique. he seemed friendly enough, so she had reached out a small hand and poked him with it a few times.
lowering a hand, she pointed to the cell. she would have picked it up, except she was never too keen on kneeling, bending, or anything to that nature. "can you please pick up my phone for me?" the actress asked, not really all too sure that he heard or not.
